The crew of actors from the 'Dhoom 3' band is here in Chennai to promote
the film. When we caught up with them at their public presence last
evening, the actors opened up on the film; Aamir Khan in specific went a
little further and shared his views on Tamil audience and his anxiety
over the Tamil-dubbed release of 'Dhoom 3'. Speaking his mind, Aamir
said "Every film is important to me. I want the audience to enjoy -
that's what I work for. I am a non-believer in number games; I want my
movies to recover their production cost. As for 'Dhoom 3', it is an
exciting script, which made me take it up." The actor spoke further on
his Kollywood inclination and influences - "I don't intend being a
typecast; I want to do different roles. Along the same line, however, I
wasn't sure if I would do 'Ghajini', but it was actor Suriya who
persuaded me to take it up." Aamir, who is a great fan of Rajinikanth
from 'Giraftar', is excited and nervous about the critical reception of
'Dhoom 3' in Tamil Nadu.
"The film is dubbed in Tamil and I am anxious to know the responses of
Kollywood audience on my performance. I feel like a new comer!" he
chuckled. Katrina Kaif, who was also a part of the promotion team, held
the mic and spoke on her views and feelings. "I miss Chennai" she said.
"My mom used to live here, and it is a nice city" said Katrina, who
further added on 'Dhoom 3', saying "Action sequences for this film have
been really challenging. They were more demanding than 'Ek Tha Tiger'
and I am happy that the film has come out well."
